Before you place an order, please read the following information, which forms an important part of our terms and conditions. Please also read the useful information on our page FAQ's

The following terms and conditions will apply between you and Heritage Coins as a brand of The Bradford Exchange when you buy an item through our websites. These terms do not affect your statutory rights. By accessing the heritagecoins.co.uk website, it means that you automatically agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with them, please do not use our website. We may amend these terms from time to time. Every time you wish to use our site, please check these terms to ensure you understand the terms that apply at that time.

Placing and Processing your order

The heritagecoins.co.uk website is provided for your personal use only. You may not use it for any commercial purpose. By placing an order, you agree that all goods ordered by you are for your own private and domestic use only. We do not accept liability for any indirect loss, consequential loss, loss of income or profit, loss or damage to property and/or loss from claims of third parties arising out of the use of our websites or for any products or services purchased from heritagecoins.co.uk. You must be eighteen years old or older to use our sites. When placing an order, you agree that all the information you provide to us is accurate, current and complete in all respects, that the payment details you are using are your own and that there are sufficient funds in your account to cover payment of the product(s) ordered.If you register for an account with our website, you will be asked to choose a password. It is your responsibility to keep your password confidential. You must notify us in writing immediately if you become aware of any disclosure of your password. You are responsible for any activity on our website arising out of any failure to keep your password confidential and may be held liable for any losses arising out of such a failure. If there are any changes to the details supplied by you, it is your responsibility to inform us as soon as possible.

We will only use your personal information as set out in our Privacy Policy.

Accepting your order

All orders are subject to acceptance and product availability. The acceptance of your order will be deemed to occur on the allocation of the goods to your order.

No contract for the sale of any product will exist between you and Heritage Coins until we accept your order by dispatching the product to you. When this happens, we will confirm the acceptance by sending you an email. This confirmation email will be sent to the email address given in your order form and will detail the products ordered, payment method, cost (including VAT and P&P) and usual delivery times. Please check all the details on this confirmation email are correct and contact us as soon as possible if any details are incorrect. The completion of the contract between you and us will occur when the order is despatched unless you have cancelled the order in accordance with our instructions. You may cancel this contract if you so wish, provided you do so within fourteen days after you receive the products and return them to us. We may not accept your order for the following reasons: (i) We may have been unable to obtain authorisation for your payment. (ii) The product you ordered may be out of stock (see Product Availability below). (iii) We may have identified a pricing or product description error. (see Pricing Policy below) (iv) There may have been a failure to meet the eligibility to order criteria as set out in our Terms and Conditions.

If your order has not been accepted, we will notify you telling you the reason why.

We reserve the right to cancel any order if the product is no longer available. No compensation will be paid in such cases, but you will not be charged for your order.

Product Availability

All items are subject to availability. Availability information for products is listed on each individual product description.

If an item sells out, we will take it off the website at the earliest opportunity, and it may not be made available again.

If heritagecoins.co.uk does not have enough stock to deliver the goods you have ordered, we will not charge your credit or debit card until the items are in stock and ready to be despatched.

If items that you order are out of stock or delayed for any reason, we will try to contact you at the email address you provided when placing your order.

Pricing Policy

All prices listed on heritagecoins.co.uk are based on UK delivery.

All prices listed on heritagecoins.co.uk are in pounds sterling and are inclusive of VAT, where we are required to charge VAT by law.

All prices are correct at the time of entering the information; however, we reserve the right to change the prices of any product at any time. We reserve the right to change prices if there is a change to the rate of VAT or precious metal prices and do our best to ensure that prices are correctly shown. However, very occasionally, an error may occur. In this unlikely event, we will attempt to contact you as soon as possible at the email address you gave us when you placed your order. If we cannot contact you, or if we receive no response to our email, we will continue to process the remaining items on your order.

We shall be under no obligation to fulfil an order for a product that was advertised at an incorrect price. In the event that you order an item and the price published on heritagecoins.co.uk is incorrect for any reason, we will email you to inform you, and you will be advised of the correct price and offered the opportunity to re-order at the correct price.

We cannot vouch for the reliability of prices of our products stated on shopping directories or through any other third parties.

Paying for your Order

We have compiled a list of FAQs regarding accepted payment methods and how we process payments here.

All credit and debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery

We offer instalment plans on many of our products and credit facilities for our established customers.

We ask for prompt payment when invoices become due. If you are having difficulty paying your invoice, please contact us, and we will provide whatever assistance we can. If we do not hear from you, we will send out reminder letters requesting that you pay any overdue amounts. We may also contact you via telephone, email and text. We will seek to recoup from you the cost of sending out these reminders and the cost, if necessary. These charges may amount to up to £22.50. If it proves necessary to instruct an agency, they may also pass on their costs of collection to you. None of these costs will be incurred if invoices are settled on the due date stated clearly on the invoice itself. Delivery, cancellation and returns

If you have placed an order but then wish to change, cancel or return it, please follow the procedure on our FAQ page here

We shall have no liability to you for any delay in the delivery of products ordered or any other matters to the extent that the delay is due to any event outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, flood, fire, labour disputes, strikes, lock-outs, riots, civil commotion, malicious damage, explosion, governmental actions and any other similar events.

In the unlikely event that you receive goods which are not what you ordered, or which are damaged or defective, we shall make good any shortage or non-delivery, replace or repair any damaged or defective goods, or refund to you the amount you paid for the goods provided that you notify us of the problem in writing or email within 14 working days of delivery and return the goods to us. Information on how to return products is on our FAQ page. This provision does not affect your statutory rights.

Heritage Coins, our logos and our other registered and unregistered trademarks are trademarks belonging to us; we give no permission for the use of these trademarks, and such use may constitute an infringement of our rights.

The third-party registered and unregistered trademarks on our website are the property of their respective owners and, we do not endorse and are not affiliated with any of the holders of any such rights; as such, we cannot grant any licence to exercise such rights.

(ii) you breach any of our terms and conditions (iii) when requested by us to do so, you fail to provide within a reasonable time frame, enough information to let us check the accuracy and validity of any information supplied by you, or your identity (iv) we suspect you have engaged, or are about to engage, or have a way of being involved in fraudulent or illegal activity on heritagecoins.co.uk. Where we suspend or prohibit or block your access to our website or a part of our website, you must not take any action to circumvent such suspension or prohibition or blocking (including, without limitation creating and/or using a different account).

Complaint Handling

All complaints made to Heritage Coins as a Bradford Exchange brand are handled in accordance with this procedure. If you have a dispute with Heritage Coins, we'll always try to sort things out if you contact customer services.

Complaints are dealt with in a serious and prompt manner. Whilst your complaint is being investigated, we may suspend any activity on your account.

You may make your complaint (i) in writing; please write to our customer services team at Heritage Coins, The Bradford Exchange, PO Box 658, Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, ST4 4RT (ii) via email, please write to our customer services team at enquiries@heritagecoins.co.uk (iii) via telephone, please call our customer services line, selecting option 4, on 0333 003 1532. Our UK call centre's opening hours are: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm and Saturday 9am-4pm.

We will aim to resolve your complaint as soon as possible; however, where an immediate resolution cannot be reached, we will aim to resolve your complaint, within a period of two working days. In our response, we will outline any findings that we have found during the investigation of your complaint. If we are unable to resolve your complaint, we will respond and advise you that we are looking into your complaint and when you can expect further contact from us.

Law

You hereby agree that we may assign, transfer, sub-contract or otherwise deal with our rights and/or obligations under these terms and conditions.

You may not, without our prior written consent, assign, transfer, sub-contract, or otherwise deal with any of your rights and/or obligations under these terms and conditions.

You agree that if you break these Conditions or any liabilities are incurred arising out of your use of this website, you will be responsible for the costs and expenses that we or our officers, directors, employees, agents and suppliers incur as a result of the breach, including reasonable legal fees (if applicable). You will remain liable if someone else uses your shopping account and/or personal information unless you can prove that such use was fraudulent.

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Any disputes relating to these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
