  1. How do Heritage Coin Collections work?
    When you buy the first coin in any collection you’re under no obligation to continue, but you do secure your opportunity to preview the rest of the coins in the series. You get the peace of mind that you are one of the few collectors who will be able to build and complete the series, without any commitment to do so. Each coin you receive is offered with our Home Approval Service, so you can enjoy and study the coin for up to 14 days before deciding whether you want to add it to your collection, or return it. You are in complete control; at every step you can either decide to continue your collection, or to stop whenever you like.
  2. Why do Heritage Coins offer a discount on the first coin in a series?
    We take great pride in the craftsmanship that goes into every coin we offer, and the fascinating stories they tell. So while we’re confident you’ll be delighted with your coin, we think it’s fair to offer you the chance to experience its quality for yourself at an introductory price before you decide to build your collection any further.
  3. Am I making a commitment to buy any further coins in a series?

    Not at all. In fact, you aren’t even obliged to buy the first coin, which is offered with our Home Approval Service. This means you can study the coin at your leisure before deciding whether you wish to add it to your collection.

    If you decide it is not quite what you are looking for, simply return it to us within 14 days for a refund. If you decide to continue with the collection, each coin in the series will be sent to you every 3-4 weeks to view entirely on approval and without obligation.

    You only need to pay for the coins you wish to keep and may stop collecting at any time; you are in full control. We promise that you will never have to keep any coin that you don't absolutely love.

  4. If I decide to keep the first coin in a collection, how many more coins do I have to buy?

    You don’t have to buy any! You can decide to stop at that first coin or to continue to build the complete collection. You only ever pay for the coins you decide to keep and are free to stop collecting at any time.

  5. Can I see the coins in the collection before I commit to buying them?

    Absolutely. When you buy the first coin in any collection, we reserve all the remaining coins in that series for you. These are usually sent every 3-4 weeks, and always with the assurance of our Home Approval Service. This gives you the opportunity to study each coin at your leisure for up to 14 days before deciding whether to purchase it for your collection, or to return it. 

  6. What if I don't want any more coins or change my mind about the collection?

    If you decide to bring your collection to an end, simply let us know using whichever route you are most comfortable with.

    Rest assured that each coin in a collection is offered with our 14-day Home Approval Service. This means you can study the coin at your leisure before deciding whether you want to add it to your collection, or return it by following the easy-returns process described in the letter that came with your coin.

  7. What if I don’t want to wait? Can I buy all the coins in the collection now rather than each month?

    Most of our team are collectors too, so we understand the urge to complete a set as quickly as possible! Not only do you get to experience the joy of a complete collection in an instant, but there’s also every chance that you’ll save on the postage and packing charges compared to purchasing each coin monthly.
