Delivery

Delivery - FAQs

  1. Where do you deliver?

We currently deliver to any address within the United Kingdom. Please note, our express delivery service is not available for offshore addresses, and we recommend that you allow extra time for delivery to remote and rural areas.

  2. How long will delivery take?

If your order is in stock, we aim to deliver within 8 to 10 working days.

We work closely with our mint and partners to ensure delivery times are kept to a minimum, but sometimes circumstances beyond our control mean that delivery may take longer than anticipated.

If we think that your order is going to be delayed we will let you know within 28 days of you placing your order.

  3. My order hasn’t been delivered yet, what should I do?

This depends on whether we have actually shipped your order or not.

When we check, pack and despatch your order we will send you an email confirming that it is on its way. If you haven’t received this despatch confirmation yet, then please bear with us; we work closely with our partners to ensure delivery times are kept to a minimum, but sometimes circumstances beyond our control mean that delivery may take longer than anticipated. If we think that your order is going to be delayed we will let you know within 28 days of you placing your order.

However, if you have received confirmation that we have despatched your order, please allow 10 working days for delivery. If you have not received your order after 10 working days, please get in touch on 0333 207 6836 or email us at enquiries@heritagecoins.co.uk and we will be more than happy to help.

  4. How will my order be shipped?

For the majority of orders, we use Royal Mail, and for high-value coins, we use a signed-for courier service.

In some cases, we also offer an Express Delivery service.

All available delivery options will be shown on our website when you place your order.

  5. How much do you charge for delivery?

Our standard delivery charge is £3.99, but this can change for higher value orders.

The delivery cost is always displayed on our website next to the price of the item and will be shown again during the checkout process.

  6. What if I am not at home when my parcel is delivered?

If Royal Mail are delivering your order and you're not at home when they try to make delivery, they will leave a card explaining how to arrange a re-delivery or collect it from your local Sorting Office or Post Office.

If the delivery is with a courier, they will also leave a card explaining how to contact them so you can arrange a convenient time for them to re-deliver your order.

  7. What do I do if the delivery charge online is different to what is shown on my coupon or order form?

This happens from time to time, but we will always honour any price that we have published in print.

Please give us a call on 0333 207 6836 and we will be happy to help.

  8. I am collecting a series of coins when will they be delivered?

Each coin in a collection is sent to you every 3-4 weeks with our 14-day Home Approval Service.

This means you can study the coin at your leisure before deciding whether you want to add it to your collection, or return it by following the easy-returns process described in the letter that comes with your coin.
